What is it about?
This paper deals about in-situ fabrication of nanocomposites in half-Heusler thermoelectric materials. How varying VEC can lead to fine tuning to the optimization of high thermoelectric materials. A varieties of substructures even super-structure can be fabricated by this mechanism of varying VEC which may lead to drastic reduction in the thermal conductivity which has largely been victim in the half-Heusler materials.

Why is it important?
This work derives a new strategy of synthesizing in-situ nanocomposite in half-Heusler materials for thermoelectric applications. The strategies of describing such nanocomposite is first of its kind for the use in power generation materials.
