What is it about?
Sunshine hours (SSH) is an important meteorological parameter, loosely linked to temperature and precipitation, and highly relevant for various sectors such as agriculture or solar energy. With the help of the AMO, the SSH can be predicted. Over the next 30 years, there will be a dimming with consequences for agriculture, energy and even tourism. Thre will be less energy available from solar PV.
