What is it about?
This paper explores a specific parameter that gives an indication of the size of diffuser, which is area-ratio parameter and it's effect of diffuser's performance. It finds that an optimum diffuser may be in an area-ratio of 1.5, that is area of the outlet of diffusers is 1.5 bigger than the area of its inlet. This means that relatively small sizes of diffusers are more efficient in harvesting more energy. This is also proofed by several individual previous research.

Why is it important?
It helps to accelerate diffusers adoption for wind energy harvesting into buildings, while enhancing their performance.
Perspectives
It is hoped that this research solves some problems of wind variability, unpredictability besides low magnitude of wind speeds around buildings. where wind energy is needed the most. So, it provides an opportunity to accelerate wind in a controlled manner in confined spots without affecting the environment around buildings.
