What is it about?

This is a method that can find drug compounds that target proteins from the combination of human gene expression and model animals treated by compounds,

Why is it important?

Two major in silico drug identification strategy, structure-based and compound-based drug discovery is not strong enough to find drug candidate compounds. This method belong to the third strategy that can make use of gene expression profiles

Perspectives

In this method. tensor decomposition based unsupervised feature extraction, which was extended from the previously proposed principal component analysis based unsupervised feature extraction by my own, was applied to tensors generated from a mathematical product of gene expression between human and animals.
