What is it about?

During isolation of auxotrophic mutants in B.subtilis, we found some streptomycin resistant clones acquired some auxotrophic requirements.

Why is it important?

Usually the frequency of Sm-resistant mutaion is c 10X-7 as well as other genes. Our finding raises the question why in our strain doble mutaion occurred frequently. This is an important question.

Perspectives

One of the explantioon was other mutated genes are minked to Sm. We have n answer.
