Why is it important?
Sexuality is an important and complex domain in quality-of-life studies. Sexual dysfunction is a taboo subject in many countries that negatively affects quality of life and may often be responsible for psychopathological disturbances. In many societies, such discussions are almost taboo; hence, these problems are often not volunteered. If female sexuality is disturbed, the consequences it might lead to include familial discord and divorce, and reproduction is also affected.
