What is it about?

We subjected 1327 clinically diagnosed human rabies death and mass dog vaccination (MDV) data during 2006–2018 to quantify the impacts of MDV on human rabies incidence in Bangladesh and a subset of rabies death data (422) for clinico-epidemiological analysis.

It shows how a complex public health problem could be resolved with known interventions like mass dog vaccination.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to an important disease contacting me and ultimately to a greater involvement in neglected topical disease research in Bangladesh.
