Why is it important?

It is important for healthcare planners and policy makers to realise the huge impact that dry eye has on daily function. One of the activities most affected is the ability to drive at night, which can impact on social function as well.

Perspectives

The study is less biased than hospital based samples, since participants are not selected or otherwise coming to hospitals for another reason.
