What is it about?
This study investigated which types of rumination (thinking about something over and over again) are related to several different personality disorders, and which are only related to specific personality disorders. Anger and sadness rumination were related to all four personality disorders in the study (Antisocial, Borderline, Narcissistic, and Histrionic). Meanwhile, self-critical rumination and depressive rumination were only related to borderline personality disorder.
