What is it about?
A new paradigm for psychiatric diagnosis

Why is it important?
I believe that anyone who is interested in mental illness, mental health professional or interested "general reader," can understand what I have written in the FDMI (book) and in this THP article. It is amazing to me that no one saw the synergy that could come from integrating psychobiology and existential psychiatry long ago. Put another way, in all attempted humility, I am surprised that it took ME to do this.
Perspectives
The FDMI and the current THP article came out of my frustration with having seen so many psychiatric patients misdiagnosed during several decades of clinical work. Many patients have been damaged. The profession needs a reboot from the disappointment that biological psychiatry has increasingly become.
