What is it about?
Prior research underscores the importance of engaging youth in discussions about health-related decisions. The goal of this study was to examine youth and parent factors that are related to youth decision making involvement about growth hormone treatment for short stature. The study found that parental worry and youth coping may be important targets of intervention when seeking to facilitate youth involvement in decision-making about growth hormone.
