What is it about?
In this study, we look at how two emotional intelligence abilities (emotion understanding and management) relate to more flexible use of emotion regulation strategies. People with high emotion understanding ability change the emotion regulation strategies they use across different situations. They also use some strategies more than others in each situation. People with high emotion management ability use some strategies more than others in each situation.
