What is it about?

This article reviews the evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the domain of leadership competence assessment and development and advances our knowledge in three distinct areas. Firstly, using AI to introduce a radically different approach to the development of a leadership competence framework. Elevating the Assessment Centre simulations to the level of predictive validities usually associated with cognitive tests. Explains how an AI / ML model rivals human AC assessor observational and interpretive abilities in assessing leadership competence. Indicates that an AI/ ML model is more effective than human assessors in discriminating leadership competence in the middle ranges of the scale where most human assessors congregate their classifications.
