What is it about?

The article is written for consulting and industrial-organizational psychologists but it is relevant for everyone, including business leaders who are concerned about treating their employees ethically and legally. The article describes human-centered approaches to AI and how consulting psychologists can help organizations create and implement humane workplace technology.

AI-driven employee management tools, chatbot service agents, surveillance platforms, and communication tools can significantly impact employee relationships and well-being. AI-driven tools need to be carefully designed and monitored to ensure they are ethical and legal.
Perspectives
I hope that people take these concerns seriously before the harms become too great like they did with social media. Consulting and IO psychologists can raise awareness of potential psychological harm help AI development teams, AI implementation teams, and AI monitoring teams generate more ethical, humane solutions.
