What is it about?

Four annual rainfall regimes were identified in Colombia. Unimodal regime predominates in the north, east, and south-east, bimodal in the Andes, and aseasonal in the west, while the mixed occurs in transition zones. Intertropical Convergence Zone migration, the Chocó, and Caribbean low-level jets and topography are the major controls of the rainfall seasonality.
