What is it about?
The aim of the present study is to offer an integrative and quantitative review of the differences in reading eye movements between young and older adults, using meta-analytic techniques. This study shows that eye movements seem to be a useful tool to measure behavioral changes due to the aging process. Moreover, the results of the meta-analysis confirm the most common patterns observed in previous research, offering an integrative vision of the state-of-the-art literature in the field.
