What is it about?

Research on change mechanisms of psychotherapy have suggested a large number of such mechanisms, called "common factors". In order to reduce this number, we applied factor analysis. This revealed four classes of common factors: Cognitive Processing (kognitive Verarbeitung), Behavioral Coping (Problembewältigung), Emotion Regulation (emotionale Verarbeitung), and Therapeutic Alliance (Therapiebeziehung und -motivation).
