What is it about?

Employees continuously have to learn. A learning culture promotes the learning of employees. With the instrument Dimensions of the Learning Organization Questionnaire (DLOQ) you can assess the organizational learning culture. This instrument is already available in 15 languages but not in German. The German translation enables German speaking researchers and practitioners to assess the learning culture of companies in order understand relations to other variables like learning behavior or to optimize the learning conditions.

Why is it important?

Fast changes in the environment challenge companies and their employees to stay up to date. Learning becomes a meta-competency and companies have an interest in promoting their employees' learning. With our research we provide a German translation of an instrument that enables researchers and practitioners to assess the promoting conditions of learning.
