Use of N-butyl cyanoacrylate in the treatment of venous insufficiency was submitted in this article. High occlusion rate, low adverse effect and easy applicability are advantages of this method.

Why is it important?
Treatment of varicouse diseases exchange from open surgical method to minimally invasive interventions. More easy and more cosmetic methods substitute the classical methods. N-butyl cyanoacrylate (NBCA) is an adhesive that has been known for many years and it has been used many fields. It also has been used in medicine for decades. The first results of use of NBCA in the treatment of venous insufficiency were presented by a few studies. We also present the first results of use of NBCA for the treatment of venous insufficiency in this article.
