Using 2D NMR spectroscopy to examine exchange between selenium and selenium-sulfur dihalides
What is it about?
The application of 2DNMR spectroscopy to examine the complex exchange of halogens, specifically bromine and chlorine in diselenium and selenium-sulfur dihalides of the type Se2X2 and SeSX2 is reported.
Why is it important?
To the best of my knowledge this is the first application of Se77 NMR 2DNMR spectroscopy to examine Selenium exchange...this is called Se77 EXSY spectroscopy.
