What is it about?

We have shown for the first time that New 10-Trifluoromethyl of Artemisinin were synthesized from a Key Allyl Bromide Precursor with high effect in malaria parasites.

Why is it important?

The antimalarial drug resistance is increasing rapidly. Many of antimalarials have been resisted by malaria parasites. So that WHO had to recommand malarial prevalance sites using combinations or new drugs with high anti-resistane. These new drugs could be solve above problems.

Perspectives

The New 10-Trifluoromethyl of Artemisinin could become new antimalarials with high effect and anti-resistance.
