The green profile has been defined considering the sustainability, as well as toxicity, hazard, and volume of organic solvent-containing wastes. he proposed methods satisfy the desirable analytical performance in terms of accuracy, sensitivity, and precision; however, many of them require an initial investment or increased operation costs. For instance, in the case of HTC dedicated chromatographic equipment and power consumption for column heating are needed to reach the goal of completely avoiding organic solvents in the mobile phases. In addition, replacement of solvents in official methods requires the new analytical conditions to be validated.
