What is it about?

Amyloid fibrils are known to be toxic and responsible for a neurodegenerative diseases. In this paper, we used amyloid fibril of fibril to synthesize highly fluorescent gold nanoclusters. Their applications in the detection of cysteine has been shown in test tube and inside live cells.
