In this work we deciphered the mechanism how the designed peptide Vrf005 and Vrf007 uptake takes place.Further its interaction potential with antifungal drug natamycin was analysed and composite matrix were prepared for sustained release.

Due to increase in antibiotic resistance there is dire need for developing peptide based therapeutic which can also acts as carrier for delivering drugs to the site of action.
