What is it about?

This review article summarizes and analyses recent progres in formation of chiral metal enolates and their utilization of subsequent transformations.

Why is it important?

Metal enolates are at the cornerstone of synthetic chemistry and their reactions are among the principal C-C bond building reactions. Our review will help researchers understand catalytic possibilities for formation of chiral metal enolates and their engagements in reactions, bith catalyzed and uncatalyzed.

Perspectives

Writing this review article was very possitive experience in terms of fruitful cooperation with co-authors. It was also rewarding to summarize our knowledge in this field as we were active in this area for about 10 years.
