What is it about?
This is mainly experimental study which shows several polymorphs of furosemide solvates. An interesting issue is how these solvates lose solvent molecules and form different polymorphs of furosemide. Interconnection between solvates structures and products of their desolvation is shown.

Why is it important?
Shows an interesting path for production of different forms of API through its solvates
Perspectives
Deeper investigation of desolvation mechanisms is highly appreciated
