What is it about?

With an increase in the number of wireless devices, the need for wireless power transfer seems straight forward. We have demonstrated a simple and small high power rectifier network that can be used for wireless power transfer. An 80% conversion efficiency is obtained. The novelty of the device is explained.

Why is it important?

This work describes a low-frequency high-power rectifier circuit for wireless power transfer. Though many rectifiers are described in literature, they do not work at higher powers or at lower frequency. The ease of building this rectifier is one of the important aspects of this design.

Perspectives

This work should help wireless power transfer research groups to develop a rectifier with low complexity for highly efficient high power wireless power transfer circuit.
