What is it about?
An interview with Terence Tunberg, one of the foremost Latin speakers in the world today. With Milena Minkova he convenes the Lexington Conventiculum at the University of Kentucky where participants commit to speaking only Latin for the one week duration of the event. He also leads the MA programme that is taught through the medium of Latin. This interview covers his motivation, methods and plans.

Why is it important?
This is important because Terence Tunberg is one of the foremost Latin speakers and proponents of Latin speaking in the world. His views on communicative teaching are authoritative and valuable.
Perspectives
The publication is important to me because much of my own doctoral thesis involved an exploration of the effects of attending the Lexington conventiculum through the perspective of sociocultural theory.
