Camphor: A novel poultry phytogenic feed additive

What is it about?

Supplementing different ranges of camphor, as a novel feed additive, has been evaluated in Japanese quail. Herein, we showed that camphor can effectively improve certain aspects of immunity and health status. Animal feed producers and even poultry farmers may incorporate this drug in their feed to benefit from its modulatory function on immunity, intestinal bacteria and health status in flocks.
