What is it about?
The study investigated the faunistic composition of ault trichoptera inhabiting water bodies around Ile-Ife, southwestern Nigeria. Samples were collected with the aid of an improvised light trap. Identification was done by clearing the genitalia and examined under electronic microscope. hydropsychidae were found to be the dominant and the most widely distributed family. this was attributed to their preference for good water and their ability to tolearate mild pollution than other species.
