What is it about?

We interviewed 5 chaplains in a Veterans Administration hospital who reported that they frequently encounter veterans at the end of life who are still suffering from thoughts or images of events that occurred during their military career many decades ago. Chaplains reported that they have had some success with helping the veterans to open up to discuss these experiences. Additionally, chaplains reported using religious and nonreligious approaches to help veterans to heal.
