Why is it important?

What is unique about Spiritual AIM? 1. includes assessments, corresponding interventions and outcomes, unlike other models which may have one or two, but not all three elements. 2. articulates underlying psychological and theological foundations. 3. does not focus only on religion. 4. does focus on a broader definition of spirituality than merely meaning. 5. can be rapidly applied (e.g.emergency department setting). 6. communicates easily to multidisciplinary team.
