Why is it important?

Research is important wherever there is an imbalance of power and where voices are silent or overlooked and when others speak for them.

Perspectives

Intercountry adoption is not always the pleasant experience I first imagined it would be. The reality is there are issues of power and disadvantage and many assumptions that need greater attention in research.
