What is it about?
During breast cancer treatment with radiotherapy, Thyroid gland is exposed to. so hypothyroidism is a long term side effect of radiotherapy of breast. In this study by changing some modification on posterior and anterior beam energies, the impact of radiotherapy on thyroid gland was attenuated significantly.
