Because nonfinite verbs do not carry the same argument structure that finite verbs have, nonfinite verbs from the Embedded Language (EL) in codeswitching can receive the grammatical inflections from the Matrix Language (ML). See examples from English as the nonfinite verb in codeswitching with a Bantu language as the Matrix Language (ML). Here is an example: ni-li-FIND much fedha 'I found much money.'
