What is it about?

Archaeological research practices divide buildings, sites and other features into separate "time periods" based on when they were first made, often ignoring how later people related to them. The paper explores how archaeological sites and structures from 6,000 years ago until around the 16th century AD continued to be part of regional landscapes and worlds.
