We look at apposition (e.g. John, the farmer) in the Bantu language Shingazidja and examine how the syntactic and prosodic properties interact.

This is the first descriptive account of apposition in Shingazidja. We also show how the prosody of apposition tells us more about the prosody of Shingazidja more generally.
