What is it about?

By replacing latitude and longitude with n-vector, many calculations are simplified. In addition, the singularities at the Poles and the discontinuity at +-180deg longitude are avoided. See www.navlab.net/nvector for 10 examples of how to solve common geographic position calculations using n-vector. Here code for Matlab, C++, Python and JavaScript can be downloaded as well.
