What is it about?
This publication is about change in the tropical hardwood hammock forests of the Florida Keys. We investigated canopy gaps in these woodlands to see if pioneer, early successional plant species were being recruited. We did not find many pioneer species, instead we found many mature, late successional species growing in canopy gaps.
