This paper reviews that these beneficial properties of black cumin seeds would be useful to inhibit growth of pathogenic microbes in the gastrointestinal tract, improve gut health function and immune response. This in turns increase growth performance, nutrient utilization and meat with higher antioxidant levels when black cumin seeds are used in the diets of poultry at 20-30 g/kg diet.
