What is it about?
Brine shrimps were studied over an eight months period for the presence of cestode larval stages

Why is it important?
Little is known about the parasite fauna of shore birds in Arabia. By examining brine shrimps as the intermediate host of avian cestodes we got an idea about the presence of certain tapeworms in a given biotope.
Perspectives
We realized that not all cestode larval stages were described properly and thus, more research has to be done in this field.
