The Crown is still the central concept in the British constitution, particularly in the context of state contracting and other new modes of ‘governance’
Perspectives
This is the result of my doctoral research on the judicial review of non-statutory executive power. I got so frustrated with all the stiffy doctrine that I just had to set out what, if anything, it means. This brought me deep into social ontology and the anthropology of office.
