What is it about?

Biological products based on microorganisms can be used concomitantly with natural herbal products in agricultural systems. These can interfere positively or negatively one over the other. The paper discusses the possible effects natural products on the Bacillus thuringiensis. The effects of some products on bacterial spores and crystals were analyzed, including analysis by scanning electron microscopy and SDS-PAGE.

Why is it important?

Understanding the effects of the concomitant or combined use of biological products and natural herbal products may contribute to the development and / or optimization of strategies for pest insect management.

Perspectives

I hope that this paper can contribute with advances in the research and development of strategies of control of insect-pests, and stimulate the development of researches directed to the use of strategies of associated control.
