What is it about?

SDM is a sequential hierarchic process where each step makes sense by itself and can take place independently of other steps expressing specific communication patterns. This research measured to what extent psychiatric patients feel they were involved in the process and different steps of decision-making about their psychiatric treatment, analyzing the influence of socio-demographic, clinical and psychological processes as psychological reactance, health locus of control and self-efficacy.
