What is it about?
Laminar-turbulent transition in the flow of polymer solutions.
Featured Image
Why is it important?
This is important because we show for the first time that the laminar-turbulent transition in microtubes can occur at much lower Reynolds numbers.
Perspectives
We carry out experiments in micro tubes to show that there is early transition from laminar flow to turbulence at Reynolds numbers much less than 2000.
