What is it about?

The Pyjama Foundation has developed an innovative mentoring program called "Love of Learning" that aims to increase the literacy levels of children living in foster care. This study surveyed Love of Learning mentors (‘Pyjama Angels’) to assess their perceptions of the relationships they had developed with the children they mentored and of the children’s improvement in their literacy skills.

The implications of the results are discussed.
