What is it about?

This is the first systematic appresentation of New Developmentalism - a new approach to development macroeconomics and the political economy of economic growth. In the macroeconomic realm it focus on the exchange rate, the interest rate and current account, and argues counterintuitively that developing countries should reject the policy of growth with foreign indebtedness ("foreign savings")
