What is it about?
Chapter 6 is Paul F. Grendler, "Universities, Monastic Studia, Academies, Seminries, and Catechesis," pp. 95-122. This is a survey of all the Catholic and Protestant educational institutions that taught theology in Europe ca. 1500 to ca. 1660. It also describes the vast expansion of catechetical schools and most influential catechisms of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
