What is it about?
Academic librarians often have to deal with copyright questions but many of them are unsure what to say. This article shows all the ways in which a team at the University of Cambridge have worked to create a community of librarians who are confident in dealing with copyright questions.

Why is it important?
Fear of copyright is something a lot of library staff suffer from. These ideas will help those in other institutions to increase the confidence levels of their staff and provide a better service to library users.
Perspectives
The work represented by this article was very much a group effort. All members of the Cambridge University Libraries Copyright Group have participated in the initiatives discussed and helped to increase wider staff confidence.
