What is it about?
Presents a mathematical proof that there is a limit to a computer's creativity. Then, presents an interface so that humans and machines can easily work together on creative tasks.

Why is it important?
People are concerned that computers will take over all jobs: physical and mental. Even jobs involving innovation and creativity are under assault. This paper proves that a computer cannot take over creativity jobs entirely.
Perspectives
This paper is a culmination of a task I set myself when I left the field of Artificial Intelligence some years ago. I had an intuition that there was a severe limitation to how creative a computer could be, but I could not prove it at the time. I entered the field of cognitive psychology to research the human obstacles to creativity and how to counter them. Now, I am combining both fields.
